Welcome and Thank You for Visiting

Whether you have been in therapy for years or are just beginning, finding a "good fit"
is the first step toward change.  My counseling background covers a broad range of
modalities. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling, have complete the two-year intensive
training in the Hakomi Method and am currently assisting as a Hakomi staff member.

Most people who reflect on their problems and gain insight find it valuable. However,
it is the studying of experience which acts as a catalyst for change.  In mindfulness
therapy, the body is used as a window into the unconscious by using guided imagery
to "feel into" and study whatever presents itself.  This style of therapy allows you to
experience yourself as you want to be in the here-and-now.

Suffering is part of the human condition.  Being stuck in it doesn't have to be.  Every
body has the capacity to understand their lives better in order to move beyond their
pain.  This is something that can never be destroyed.  It may be hidden inside us or
something we don't trust - but it is always there.

I work with individuals and couples who are seeking to understand themselves more
deeply, to live life more fully, and experience greater love and compassion.  In addition
to my training as a counselor, I bring my knowledge and experience of meditation,
nutrition, attachment theory, and existential psychology into the therapy process.
